This article includes the following parts:
Preparation:
1. Check that the client has SQL
2. On the taskbar > Right-click on the date & hour > Adjust Date& Time > Region (left menu) >
Regional format > Set System Locale to English (United States).
3. Task Manager > Performance > Memory (on the right, represent the RAM memory)
You need to know what is the RAM memory size for the next step.
4. Open SQL > Right-click on the server name > properties > Memory > Memory to be 70% of the RAM memory. Remember to convert GB to MB.
5. Go to black\Symphony\Symphony Setups\Symphony\RELEALSES (Choose the latest version).

2. Open C:\Program Files\Onebeat\ OnebeatServerAdministration >
Open OnebeatServerAdministration application (it can take a minute to open)

Installed the files in the next order:
3. Go to Onebeat folder > Open each of the folder that was created (C:\Program Files\Onebeat\ ‘onebeat _____’) > inside the folder for each application:
right-click on the application > properties :
> TAB compatibility > change setting for all users > run as administrator
> TAB Security > Choose group administrator to check that admin has full control.
If he doesn’t have full control > press on Edit > mark administrator + check box full control’
4. Follow this step only if you enter the SSMS (SQL) by 'SQL Server Authentication' as in the image below:
Open Services App (from start menu) > Onebeat Server (press right click) > Properties > Log On > change to "This Account" > Browse > Advanced > Find now > choose the user name that you used to connect this computer (clear the default password and fill in the correct one) > ok > ok.
If you enter SSMS (SQL) by 'Windows Auntitication' there is no need to follow step 4.
5. Open ‘Onebeat Server Administration’
Open Tab Connection:
Sql Servers:
SQL location: “D:\SQL_DATA\” (create this folder by yourself). It’s recommended: to create SQL Data folder not in the origin SQL ‘DATA’ folder & Not in the disk that contains the operating system (usually it disk C).
Server name: click on … (3 dots) > choose the identical ‘server name’ you use to log in SQL. You can find it in SQL. If Onebeat and SQL install on the same machine and there is only one instance of SQL installed, you can write 'localhost'.
Server list: choose the correct server name.
Ports Definition:
Check TCP Port Enabled
Port Number: ‘20100’
General:
Check Prevent collisions on simultaneous logins
Input file language encoding: 1252 western European
Custom reports export files language encoding: 65001 Unicode (UTF-8).
Open Tab SQL Security:
Choose:
- Windows Only > if the SQL on the computer is installed as 'Windows Authentication'.
- SQL Server and Windows > if SQL on the computer is installed as mix mode authentication (as shown in the image in step 4 under 'Installation Process').
Insert USERNAME & PASSWORD of 'sa' user or 'Onebeat' user sql.
Save configuration!
open Tab Server ID:
Server ID number is used to generate a valid Onebeat license. Send this Server ID to Support team in order to receive Onebeat license.
Once you will receive the license – continue with this Guide.
Open Tab Activation:
Under this tab the user can view the license credentials.
- Press 'Choose file'
- Browse for the license file you received as ' .slm' file.
- press OPEN
- press Activate
Check on services that Onebeat is running. If not, press on start (on the left side).
Open Tab DB Creation:
Create TEST DB to confirm that Onebeat and SQL are connected. Pay attention to Database Name Rules
Click NO when asked to allow collect performance statistics.
* Note: when creating a first DB on server, the SSA creates Onebeat Master DB that is necessary for using the system.
Once the DB has been successfully created, you will receive a confirmation message:
